Pounds up

I did over eat a bit last week, but as this is about a five pound gain in a very short period of time, I have to conclude water weight. I am however counting again and will be back on a once a day juicing until my next fast, which is in December. I'm thinking I will do the 14 day this time, as the 7lbs guy has updated his app to include this regime.

checking in

total loss in 5 weeks 13.5 pounds. average 2.5 pounds per week.  

Yes, finally seeing movement again on the scale. I've been wrestling for weeks with water weight. I think that the 5 to 7 pounds you lose in the first couple of days on the juice diet is just water and waste, and that I've been slowly really losing that weight over the past month, it's just not shown too much on the scale. I should say I'm real happy that I didn't regain those 5 to 7 pounds.

Successful efforts in my grind
Hiked 3 miles on Tuesday at Eno park, and have been counting calories like a mad man. Every evening I wrestle with the snack man, AND WIN! Juice 1x per day for energy, low fats, no bread (only gluten free), no pasta, no cream sauces, fruits and vegetables, meats, minimal sweets (such as a 90 cal fat free pudding here or there) , almost no soda, almost no fast food. I cook most of the time. Eat on a schedule. Graze or eat up to five times per day. 8am 11am 2pm 6pm 9pm for a total of 1650 calories (using calculator from previous post)

Good Habits

Grinding it out, but I'm in a flow now. It took about three weeks of disciplined effort to effect a moderate lifestyle change to loose weight. I live with the hunger pang on various occassions throughout the day, and to get past it I think about how good it feels to tighten the belt tighter and not feel so heavy an unhealthy.. These are not "staving" moments, just a moderate ache. Last night was a perfect day, with exercise (250 cal off) and food (1850 cal on).
